Website use

The Speculum Mundi Foundation provides this website to explain its work and receive applications and enquiries. Use it lawfully and provide accurate information when submitting a form.

Do not impersonate another person or submit spam or harmful content. Do not attempt to access private records or disrupt the website. We may block requests that misuse the service.

Fellowship applications

A parent or guardian aged 18 or over must complete the Juventus application with the student. Essays and mathematical responses must be the student’s own work. Any assistance must be declared as requested in the form.

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. The foundation does not select national Olympiad teams or guarantee competition results. Any separate terms for fellowship participation will be provided before a fellow joins.

Your submissions

Submitting work does not transfer ownership to the foundation. We use it to review your application or respond to your enquiry, as described in our privacy policy. Submission does not give us permission to publish your essays or solutions.

Email updates

By requesting and confirming a subscription, you agree to receive occasional emails about the foundation and its fellowships. Use an email address you control. A parent or guardian should subscribe on behalf of a child under 13 using the adult’s email address. Subscribing is optional and does not affect fellowship selection.

You may withdraw permission at any time using the unsubscribe link in an optional email. No account, fee or reason is required. We record your choice immediately and stop future optional sends. A message already being delivered may still arrive. Necessary application and enquiry correspondence continues. We retain a minimal opt-out record to avoid adding you back without permission. Unsubscribing does not mean agreeing to new terms or giving up any rights.

Website materials

You may link to our public pages. Contact us before reproducing our original text or artwork beyond uses permitted by law. Other people’s materials remain subject to their own licences.

Do not use the foundation’s name or logo to suggest an affiliation or endorsement without our permission.

Availability and other websites

The website may be unavailable during maintenance or technical faults. Program information and application availability may change. Check the relevant fellowship page before applying and contact us if you need information confirmed.

We do not control the content or services on external websites linked here. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the website or legal requirements. Revisions will be dated on this page and apply to future use. They will not change ownership of work already submitted or override a separate agreement with you.
