The Speculum Mundi Foundation prepares exceptional junior students in Sub-Saharan Africa for advanced competition in mathematics and physics.
What we do
Our Juventus Fellowship goes beyond standard school curricula. Through sustained mentorship, fellows develop the fundamentals to approach unfamiliar problems with precision and independence.
Our focus is preparation for the International Mathematical Olympiad and International Physics Olympiad. We are an independent initiative, not an official selection body for either competition.
The longer view
Serious intellectual work need not end with youth. We are also developing the Legacy Fellowship for adults aged 35 and older returning to higher mathematics and physics.
